The Facilities Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Providing a suitable environment for guests and employees accommodated within the SKA camp.
• Ensuring that all guest-related issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide guests with clean, well-maintained accommodation and provide laundry service, IT facilities, and satellite TV.
• Ensure that all accommodation is cleaned, maintained and checked on a daily basis.
• Coordinating with the Camp Maintenance Supervisor for the maintenance and repairs of camp facilities including plumbing, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and electrical.
• Responsible for providing a reception for checking guests in and out of camp and providing a record of occupancy on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Provide an orientation of the camp and the facilities available.
• Provide an accountable laundry service.
