TITLE: Chief of Party

LOCATION: Rwanda

SCOPE/PURPOSE OF ROLE:

eKitabu is seeking a Chief of Party for the planned, four-year USAID funded Strengthening Equitable Education for the Deaf (SEED) Activity in Rwanda. SEED’s overall objective is to improve reading outcomes for pre-primary and lower primary school learners who are deaf or hard of hearing by the end of Primary 3 (P3 or Grade 3).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Chief of Party (CoP) will serve as the primary point of contact with the USAID/Rwanda Agreement Officer. The CoP will be responsible for proactively leading all aspects of the Activity's performance, providing technical guidance to all tasks under the Agreement, providing day-to-day operational oversight and administration of the activity, managing the Activity's efforts to achieve its results, and representing the recipient’s activities as a whole to outside audiences.
