Global E&C are looking for an experienced Lead Structural Designer for a staff opportunity in Aberdeen.

This is a key role to ensure structural design activities are delivered in alignment with Global E&Cs integrated delivery model. You will be accountable for estimating, coordinating the preparation of design deliverables, managing delivery, and maintaining technical excellence for your allocated team/project portfolio.

Your regular duties will include:
• Supervising and providing support to Structural Designers.
• Producing, checking and approving structural deliverables in accordance with industry standards, codes and client specifications.
• Preparing & checking materials take-offs and bill of materials.
• Undertaking offshore surveys and creating survey reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of CTR estimates.
• Providing technical input during detailed engineering of projects if requested.
• Contributing to the development of structural designers.
