What The Law is currently hiring for a full-time on-site position for an administrative legal assistant / accounting clerk.

Role Description

-Draft retainers and manage new files that come into the firm (emails, disclosure requests, calendar entry, file creation and organization)

-Enter payments received and process credit card payments and organize monthly payment plans

-Initiate collection efforts to secure payments from existing clients

-Proactiely provide reminders to existing clients for overdue invoices

-Assist lawyers and paralegals with administrative duties

Qualifications

-Experience in a legal setting is an asset

-Graduate of a law clerk and/or relevant legal program is not mandatory but an asset
