The Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital is participating in an initiative set out by the Ministry of Health to hire clinical externs through the Enhanced Extern Program. This program was developed to provide an opportunity for students, and to support human health resources and ease pressures that are a result of the pandemic. We are seeking to hire multiple clinical externs in our Inpatient Unit.

POSITION: Clinical Extern

DEPARTMENT: Inpatient Unit

STATUS: Casual, Part time, Full Time

SCHEDULE: Days/ Evenings/ Nights/ Weekends [Mixed shifts]

HOURS: Maximum 75.0 Bi-weekly hours

HOURLY RATE: $20.60/hr.

Clinical Externs are employed as unregulated care providers, working under the supervision of a regulated health professional, to enhance and effectively support safety and quality of care for patients of ARH.
