The Environmental Coordinator is responsible for leading the implementation of administrative and engineering controls for the prevention of environmental risks, integrate practices to improve the environmental performance, as well as to manage the compliance with the Applicable Legal Requirements.
• Environmental Compliance and Reporting

Ensure compliance with local, regional, national and international applicable environmental regulations as well as the environmental permits applicable to the site.

Defend and succeed environmental compliance audits and assure corrective action implementation.

Develop and maintain accurate environmental records, including emissions, waste management, water usage, and other relevant metrics linked to corporate environmental criteria.

Collect necessary information to calculate, and monitor KPI´s, assess root cause and implement actions plans together with the affected Area managers, when targets are not met.
