Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Geologist in Maracaibo, Zulia. This role will conduct technical studies for the development of the Boscan field, with a focus on reservoir characterization, updating static models, and actively participating in the new well maturation process. This position offers an opportunity to influence the development of one of Chevron’s largest heavy oil fields, which still holds significant remaining resources. The role requires technical leadership and mentoring of geologists and reservoir engineers.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Support the development of 30+ new wells annually through Petro Boscan well maturation processes and collaborations with engineering and drilling groups.
• Able to integrate seismic, log, core, and engineering data to characterize and highlight stratigraphic/sedimentologic elements of fluvial-deltaic reservoirs.
