We are a small honey farm based in Andover, Hamphire. We run around 1000 colonies which are split roughly one third honey production two thirds nuc production.

Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Head Beekeeper at Beckys Beezzzs Ltd located in Andover. As a Head Beekeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of beekeeping operations. This is a hands on role responsible for nucleus management as well as overseeing honey production, and all colony health. We work as a small team and you will be managing other beekeepers and provide guidance and training.

Qualifications
• Extensive experience in beekeeping and colony management
• Strong knowledge of bee behavior, hive health, and pest management
• Ability to lead and manage a team of beekeepers
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
