The position of Development Manager has arisen within our Technical Decorative team, based in Luipaardsvlei. This position will report to Head: Technical (Deco).

Preference will be granted to Employment Equity candidates.

PURPOSE: To lead a team of scientists in the research and development of innovative paint formulations, processes, and technologies, from conceptualization to commercialization

Key Responsibilities
• Product innovations (New and existing).
• Design and execute experiments, trials, and studies to optimize product performance, durability, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, launch initiatives, and commercialization efforts.
• Coach and lead a team of technician/Chemists to achieve the goals/targets/objectives.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet business goals and objectives.
