Test Engineer

At Kongsberg Discovery we are developing new and revolutionary technology that operates from the deepest oceans to the outer space. We are now looking for a Test Engineer to join our Vessel Robotics team in Horten. In this role, you will be an expert user of the HullSkater Solution system and participate in module- and system test activities inhouse and on ship installations. You will work on a product that takes on some of the world’s most challenging problems within environment and sustainability.

Responsibilities
• Participate in preparation and realization of large system tests.
• Prepare, set up and maintain test equipment, logging equipment, camera equipment and everything needed for testing.
• Drive test robots (HSS Skater) in test environments at Bankløkka and Ester.
• Plan field tests: Pack equipment, prepare shipments, assist development engineers in preparations for field tests.
