I have 7 beautiful cats, aged from 3 years to 16 years. 4 are allowed outside access, 1 has limited outside access outside of peak traffic times and 2 are specifically restricted to the house and a catio I had built - the indoor cats are overseas rescues and don't have any concept of traffic and the road at the front can be quite busy. There are 2 microchip cat flaps, so the 2 mentioned need minimal monitoring, mainly just a degree of care for people accessing and exiting the catio to ensure their safety, As a result of 2 indoor cats, there are 2 litter tray which needs cleaning daily, one with grit litter and the other with wood pellet litter, neither take more than minutes to clean. They are a lovely bunch and the main duty is to feed them several times a day and to give them cuddles.
