Introduction

Komatsu has a leadership opportunity available for a Parts Inventory Manager at our Parts Distribution Center in Germiston. The successful candidate will have a B. Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics Management with specific emphasis on Inventory Management and at least 6 – 10 years’ experience in stock and parts inventory management.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide input into strategy of the department /function / discipline / strategic project.
• Plan resource allocation and priorities.
• Implement functional / discipline strategy into operational plans & goals.
• Implement approved structures (people, process, technology)
• Collaborate with other organisational units to achieve objectives and results.
• Manage mechanisms for business results measurement, aligned with plans & objectives.
• Participate in planning the human resource allocation, acquisition, retention and motivation within agreed People Plan priorities.
