Clapar hamlet, Duren Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency is a hamlet located in the highlands on the slopes of Ungaran mountain. This hamlet is the largest chrysanthemum cultivation place in Central Java. The chrysanthemum flowers produced by the hamlet of Clapar are exported outside the island of Java. Besides being famous for the cultivation of chrysanthemum flowers, residents in Duren village also work as farmers, ranging from rice, chilies, tomatoes, mustard greens, etc. This is because the geographical location of the village in the highlands is good for farming.

Volunteers will mostly do farming work, helping local farmers. In the beginning of the project, the volunteers will have one day orientation about how to do the farming and will be given information about the history of the village, so that they can really gain a lot of knowledge about the area and the farming process.
