Overall purpose of the role, under the direct line management of the Economic Recovery (EcRec) team leader, entails the effective and quality implementation of intake sessions as an entry point for the EcRec activities, serving as the primary point of contact for the livelihoods center and being responsible for the first contact with visitors. The Economic Recovery Assistant - Intake is expected to coordinate with employability and self-employment officers to receive market-related information and technical guidance and to share information and opportunities with the livelihoods center visitors on a daily basis.

The role includes conducting a preliminary assessment to understand center visitors’ situation against project criteria and advise on EcRec service selection.
