The Lot Assistant works with other members of the Lot team to coordinate OPENLANE's vehicle inventory. Duties can include marking/staging vehicles for the sale or transport, inventory scanning & control, photographing vehicles for inspection reports, flagging vehicles being marshaled, assisting with snow removal, and more.

Responsibilities Include
• Ensure vehicles are ready for auction and ensuring vehicles are in working order (i.e. boosting, adding gas, attending to lockouts, preparing for towing, and filling tires)
• Recording any services provided (fuel, tow, etc) to ensure accurate billing
• Preparing vehicles for the auction, staging for reconditioning shops or transport by ensuring they are moved & parked in their assigned areas
• Moving, marking and/or staging vehicles as instructed
• Provides customer service by assisting customers or other internal departments in retrieving their vehicles
• Assist with vehicle stock in & check out process
