Brightwork are supporting our client, a leader in the food industry, in their search for a talented Shift Engineer (Multi-skilled, Electrically Biased) to join their Engineering Department. This full-time position based in Alness offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading food manufacturing business committed to sustainability and quality.

The successful candidate will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to maintain production and site assets, ensuring optimal equipment utilisation and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to line breakdowns
• Execute planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules
• Adhere to Health and Safety, quality, and environmental protocols
• Diagnose faults, test, repair, and maintain electrical/mechanical equipment in compliance with food hygiene standards
• Utilise root cause analysis to identify failure reasons
