Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Teppanyaki Chef located in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Teppanyaki Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine including but not limited to meat, seafood, and vegetables on a teppan grill. The Teppanyaki Chef will also maintain food quality and standard, train and manage other kitchen staff, manage inventory, and order supplies.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3to 4 years of experience as a Teppanyaki Chef in a high-volume restaurant
• Thorough knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques
• Ability to create visually appealing and good-tasting dishes
• Excellent knife skills, culinary creativity and artistic ability
• Good organization skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must be able to handle high stress environments and work well under pressure
