Imports Coordinator has to handle the daily Imports & logistic duties of the organization. Also, the applicant must be able to operate independently and under Pressure. Should be able to cope with Sudden and Variable Situations which could arise amidst the normal course of work. The applicant should be capable of implementing and maintaining 5s standards to ensure a proper work environment.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for sourcing and procurement for import requirements.
• Ensure the samples and prices are prepared within agreed timelines and required qualities.
• Coordinating order deliveries to ensure the timelines are met.
• Coordinate with suppliers and obtain prices for imported materials.
• Attend regulatory clearances on imports liaising with authorities such as Import Control SL customs etc. when necessary.
• Forward advance shipping documents to the clearing agents and follow up for draft customer documents.
• Arrange import duty payments for clearing agents.
