Currently looking to recruit a Science Teacher to work within a Secondary alternative provision in the REDCAR locality.

Must be a confident and resilient individuals with previous experience of Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.

To Start 15th April and run until Summer 2024 at least

About The Role
• Deliver engaging Science lessons. (the school is flexible with specialisms - Physics/ Biology/ Chemistry)
• Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the school’s behaviour policy.
• Practical and Theory Teaching Required
• Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students achieve their full potential.
• Attendance at parents evenings and meetings required
• Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day and that students achieve the best outcomes.
