The Assistant Cook supports the Food Services Supervisor in preparing and implementing meals at the camp. This role involves food preparation and cooking, cleaning of equipment, daily logging, and checks. Accountabilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the main preparation of food for campers, staff, and volunteers, as well as other kitchen duties, as required by the Head Cook.
• Prepare meals according to the developed menus and provide suggestions to menu planning
• Maintain cleaning of equipment
• Complete daily logging and checks
• Share responsibility for practicing economy in the use of food.
• Adhere to the scheduled times for food service.
• Ensure food handling, preparation, and storage is conducted according to food safe standards.
