Rosyth, DunfermlineManpower Engineering have immediate opportunities available for Platers on an ongoing project in Fife
The Role
Working as a Plater on the T31 project at Rosyth Docks where no two days will be the same, you will be fabricating various components of the T31 Frigates .
Standard hours of work are 37 per week Monday to Thursday and overtime is available on evenings, Fridays and Sundays.
PAYE Rates
• Dayshift £18.83 plus holidays
• Nightshift £27.68 plus holidays
• Overtime £28.25
• £45 per day travel is paid if you live outside of a 35 mile radius of the docks, this is capped a 5 days
What do I need to be successful in this role
• A recognised Fabrication Apprenticeship to N/SVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
• To be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Arc Air Gouging, grinding, and burning experience is desirable
• Previous experience of working within the heavy engineering/marine defence industry would be advantageous
