My client is looking for ideally a qualified quantity surveyor with some experience working in the construction, shopfitting, commercial or residential development areas. You will be articulate and numerate and be ambitious to develop and grow. You will be involved in the fit out of an international jewellery chain, commercial to residential conversions and petrol forecourt retail sites. Other exciting projects are in the pipeline.

Key role activities to include:

· Attending site and liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers

· Site surveys and measuring up as required

· Receiving and pricing drawings

· Liaising with design teams

· Producing job scopes and schedule of works

· Arranging tenders for sub-contractors and subsequent tender to customer where applicable

· Managing planning applications, compliance with building regs and any other applicable regulations
