Reporting to the Mechanic Supervisor, Mechanics are responsible for maintaining our highway maintenance equipment in our shops or field environment.

Specialized Abilities and Skills:
• Aptitude and capacity in the performance of specific trade functions
• Ability to follow instructions an direction promptly and efficiently
• Ability to work in conjunction with other employees
• Assist apprentices in learning and developing the skills of the trade
• Periodically direct the efforts of another employee to assist them
• Physically and mentally compatible with the work involved and able to work under the rigors of the job.
