Responsibilities
• Evaluate and deeply analyze materials and corrosion, including decision-making and proposing consultation, technical engineering advice, recommendations, and specifications related to Mechanical Integrity and Expected Failures of production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct failure investigations, plan both human resource and equipment operations to conduct testing/analysis of damages appropriately and propose effective corrective measures.
• Understand processes and data correlation to gather and analyze process analyses for RBI (Risk Based Inspection), Assess Integrity assessment.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of corrosion control, corrosion protection, and prevention to enable the plant to have maintenance plans, designs for appropriate corrosion prevention/control, and the ability to apply databases for corrosion monitoring and control.
