Senior Project Engineer (2 year contract) East RandOur client is a heavy manufacturer.Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is to execute the capital plan assigned to him within agreed and approved scope budget, schedule, and quality parameters.

Direct and manage contractors and other impacted parties, under direction of the Engineering Manager, with the specific objective to provide a safe, optimal, timely and efficient solution, requested by the owner’s team as per the approved Capital Plan.

QualificationsQualification in (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering)Preference will be given to candidates that are certified as Project Management Professionals or other Advanced Management Certification.

SkillsA minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in a heavy engineering plant environment, of which a year in a formal project management role.
