Summary

The role of the Production Scheduler is critical to the successful development and delivery of the production plan, and therefore to achieving our business goals. They act as the interface between the Network planning organization on shop floor execution, with their primary functions being to agree the production plan with the operations team, monitoring that it is completed as planned, and resolving any issues that arise along the way (such as material availability issues, changes due to breakdowns etc.). They also flag and provide relevant updates on the data that drives the planning process, predominantly around production wheels and capacity availability.
