Responsibilities:

stories for publication in our newspaper and on our digital platforms.
• Stay informed about local, national, and
international news developments and pitch timely story ideas.
• Conduct interviews with sources and gather
information to support your reporting.
• Collaborate with editors, reporters, and
photographers to coordinate coverage of events and breaking news.
• Adhere to editorial guidelines, standards, and
deadlines to ensure high-quality content.
• Monitor audience engagement and feedback to
refine content strategies.

Requirements:
• HND/Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications,
or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a news writer or
journalist, preferably in a newspaper or digital news environment.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with an
ability to craft compelling narratives under deadline pressure.
