We are currently seeking to fill the position of On Call Patient Travel Clerk within the patient

travel department. Under the direction of the Patient Travel Manager, the successful candidate

will learn all aspects of administering the patient transportation program. Comprehensive on the

job training will be provided and will commence upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange transportation for clients to out-of-town medical appointment, including:

o Reviewing travel options

o Making flight & accommodation reservations

o Sending necessary cheque requisitions to Finance department

o Last minute travel arrangements as they arrive

o Bill payments/invoices

o Reimbursement Claim to First Nations Health Authority Monthly

o Verification Reports to First Nations Health Authority Monthly

• Assisting clients to ensure their needs are understood

• Sends relevant cheque requisitions to the Finance department for processing
