Hotel or Resort managers plan, organize and direct the operations of hotels or resorts and similar establishments to provide guest accommodation and other services.Tasks include –directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities;supervising security arrangements and garden and property maintenance;planning and supervising kitchen, restaurant, events and activities carried out in the Hotel / Resorts;assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction;undertaking budgeting for the establishment;controlling selection, training and supervision of staff;providing guests with local tourism information, and arranging tours and transportation.
