A well established equipment manufacturing company based on the West Rand requires the above to join their company in the Mining, Minerals and Processing industry.

Minimum requirements for the role:

A Technical Qualification.

Minimum of 5years experience in procurement of materials and consumables for medium to heavy equipment fabrication.

Must be able to read and interpret P&ID, mechanical and structural drawings.

Must have knowledge of various steel grades in plate, structural steel and round bar, for both stainless and carbon steels.

Must be able to generate Bill of Materials and requirements from mechanical drawings and client instructions.

Must have knowledge of commodity prices and market trends relating to steel products.

Must have experience procuring materials for pressurised equipment, and have a good understanding of relevant Authorised Inspection Authority requirements for such equipment.
