Purpose of the job

To ensure the provision of leadership in respect of all sites (Cato Ridge, Bloemfontein, and Atlantis) comprising of Production, Maintenance, Security, Site Facilities.

Direct and translate the Manufacturing related information into Business Plans, as well as being a custodian of all functions related to performance, which concentrates on all production and the maintaining of all equipment as per legislative requirements.

Further responsible for the oversight and execution of all Safety, Health, Environment, Responsible Care (including Process Safety) requirements.

Maintains active participation within Manufacturing.

This role holds the 16.2 legal appointment in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

This role holds the legal appointment deputy MHI responsible person in terms of the Major Hazardous Installation Act new regulations .
