The top salary range for this position currently reaches $66,482.54. The position will receive a 4.0% salary increase in July 2024 and 2025, a 3.0% salary increase in July 2026; bringing the top step salary to $74,064.70.

Under either immediate or general supervision, the Parks Worker I/Parks Worker II performs a variety of gardening and maintenance tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of park facilities, and performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Supervision is provided by the Parks Crew Chief.

PARKS WORKER II:
This is the journey level class in the Parks Worker series. Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are normally filled by advancement from the I level, or, when filled from the outside, require prior park maintenance experience.
