Function

The Elia Group is looking for an Analyst for its System of the Future team to meet the challenges of an evolving energy system. This team is responsible for the following tasks (among others):
• Carry out qualitative and quantitative work on the future electricity system towards 2050 regarding market mechanisms, flexibility and integration of new technologies.
• Development of a vision on -and roadmap towards- the electricity system of the future;
• Delivery of concrete results and recommendations to the Elia Group Committee;
• Active monitoring of trends and developments in the electricity sector that can make a difference in the longer term;
• Maintaining an overview and structuring projects within the Elia Group related to longer-term developments within the electricity system;
• Frequent coordination with internal and external stakeholders on future trends and evolutions.
