Job summary

We are looking for an occupational therapist with experience, skills and an interest in working with service users who have complex mental health needs, on an acute ward.

You must have some experience of working with mental health service users as a qualified practitioner. We are looking for a practitioner with good communication and liaison skills who is forward thinking and enthusiastic regarding innovative ways of working.

The post will be working with males but will be an opportunity to work on the female wards on occasions, to further your experience and add variety to the job.

You will be part of a really friendly group of occupational therapists within the larger therapy team and will be supported by a lead occupational therapist and operational team managers. You will also have the opportunity to provide supervision and support to junior OT staff as well as support workers.
