Job Summary: The Power Plant Technician I is a critical role in the operation and maintenance of a large-scale power generation facility with a generation capacity typically exceeding 1 MV (1 million volts). While a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, equivalent combinations of education and experience are also considered. This position requires five (5) to eight (8) years of related experience and a high level of job knowledge, skill, and physical ability to perform assigned job functions. Working in this role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the ongoing safe and efficient operation of the power generation facility.
