Crew Leader, Powerline Technician

This position is located in Fort Simpson, NT.

Participates as a member of the Transmission & Distribution Group and performs Journeyperson level work in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution systems, including substations underground and streetlight systems.

This position has the responsibilities of a Crew Leader, in addition to the responsibilities of the Journeyperson Powerline Technician.

It shall be the duty of a Crew Leader, under the general direction of their Manager, to supervise the work of the employees and contractors under their charge in such a manner that work shall be carried out safely, efficiently, and expeditiously. • ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the NTPC Health & Safety Management System and the NTPC Environmental Management System,
