Principal Conservation Officer : Job description We are looking for a resilient, champion of heritage, to contribute strongly to a team fully engaged with the demands and variety of development that the history and growth of Cambridge entail - all within a context of evolving work practices and increasing emphasis on cost recovery. Besides the expected range of historic environment tasks, we are also involved in design & construction awards; college decarbonisation; local listing; city heat network; and site allocation appraisals in an area that probably has the fastest-growing city economy in the country. There are some 3500 Listed Buildings and over 100 conservation areas in the historic university city of Cambridge and surrounding villages and small towns of South Cambridgeshire.
