MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric (Grade12)
• 3+ years bookkeeping experience
• Matric and Bookkeeping Diploma or similar qualification
• Experience in a hospitality environment ideal
• Knowledge of Pastel and/or Sage Accounting Package
• Computer literacy in MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Word

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for recording and maintaining a business' financial transactions, such as purchases and expenses
• Processing high volume supplier invoice invoices into the system (Pastel/Sage) accurately and timeously
• Preparation of supporting payment packs for review by FM
• Monthly supplier recons
• Bank Reconciliations
• Assist in collection of customer payments and reconciliations
• Stock inventory journals daily for various departments
• Assist in month end process including drafting of month end journals
• Assist in external audit queries and data requests
• Reconcile Credit Card, Cash and EFT control accounts
