Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 occupational therapist with an interest in working with adults with a learning disability to join our service. You will be based in the Monmouthshire community learning disability team in Abergavenny, but will gain experience of working in our neighbouring team in Blaenau Gwent. You will receive regular supervision, and a variety of opportunities for continuing professional development, including our preceptorship programme for newly qualified Occupational Therapists.

Occupational Therapy is a highly valued service within the health board and we are strongly committed to service development, standard setting, clinical effectiveness and lifelong learning. We are keen to recruit an occupational therapist that is ready to work in an occupational therapy service that is actively developing and changing to meet the needs of the people that we serve.
