Block Property Manager / Team Leader

Our Client, based in the UK is looking for a Block Property Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based in South Africa, working remotely from a South African office, based in Durban North. (The properties are based in the UK)

In addition, the successful candidate will be capable of managing a small South African based team (clerks, admin assistants).

Responsibilities:
• Organise appropriate work to resolve enquiry, gaining approval from landlord where cost might exceed preset spending limits;
• Managing insurance cover at the building, including insurance claim processing, extending to;
• Attending AGMs/Shareholders Meeting or as defined;
• Monitor progress, ensure timely completion, approve invoice for payment;
• Oversee financials such as budgets and accounts, and present relevant reports to clients;
• Ensure that you meet all current property legislation including that within the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985;
