Job title: Music Director Location: RAF LAKENHEATH, England Travel: N/A Duties: Directs all worship music at the Protestant worship service. Have overall musical directorship to include but not limited to recruitment of members, rehearsals, and choir direction. Collaborate musical selections with the Chaplain and the Sunday Catholic Mass Music Accompanist. Lead the choir and congregation as cantor in worship and vocally lead. Sing music from a religious music, ecclesiastical, or suitable type publication resource consistent with the nature of the Catholic Mass. Provide arranged, improved, and scored music as appropriate for compatibility with the type of Mass or other functions of the Chaplain’s program at which it was rendered. Conduct one weekly rehearsal with choir members at an appropriate time to allow for maximum participation amongst its members.
