Our client is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their well-established mining company based in Mpumalanga. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mining industry and possess excellent financial management skills.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Accounting:
• Ensure financial statements comply with IFRS
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Prepare and review interim and final corporate reporting pack
• Assess and monitor compliance with new IFRS standards
• Coordinate statutory matters as they arise
• Manage capital

Treasury And Cash Management
• Review and release payments
• Review cash flow forecasts

Procurement
• Lead procurement function
• Participate in tender committee
• Negotiate contracts
• Address grievances from local community

Budget
