POSITION SUMMARY

As a Trailer Mechanic at WEL, you would provide preventive maintenance to WEL Companies trailers and equipment.

Essential Functions
• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailers and reefers.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Tag all warranty parts and return to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins.
• Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by supervisor.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures. Participate in, and utilize to the best of one’s abilities, management-assigned technical training.
