Introduction

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Fitter Mining Services, to be based at the Bentley Park near Carletonville, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Foreman.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
• Effective supervision of team’s daily tasks
• Plan and allocate tasks to team members in line with procedures and quality standards
• Effectively construct, repair, maintain, trouble shoot and overhaul all types of mechanical equipment related to raise drilling according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
• Cost containment through effective planning, no rework, availability of spares and equipment
• Adherence to OEM specifications
• Self and team understand and comply with M&RC’s standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
