Description

1. Control and monitor Boiler operation to make sure all parameters are within safe limits
2. Do routine inspections to ensure all boiler auxiliary equipment, such as the Feedwater Pump, Control Valve, FD Fan, ID Fan and Blowdown Valve, are functioning correctly
3. To perform routine cleaning and maintenance of boiler, equipment, machineries, etc. to ensure the Boiler is at good running condition at all times
4. To record the Boiler operation and all parameters into the log book and report any abnormalities to the superiors
5. Make maintenance work according to the instructions from the Superiors
6. Maintain and ensure Softener, Chemical Feeding Pumps and Deaerator are in good conditions
7. Report and record all breakdowns and defects that occur in the Boiler, Deaerator, Softener, machinery and equipment's surrounding the Boiler House to the maintenance team for immediate repair and rectification works
