AKA Foods is hiring a Sensory Technician to join the Sensory team.

The company is a dynamic start-up, developing AI plant based alternatives for the food industry.

Responsibilities
• Set up testing rooms, label cups, prepare and serve samples, clean up
• Maintain a safe, clean & sanitary environment in the lab and sensory booth area
• Engage with panelists as needed, maintaining professionalism and upholding AKA foods Guidelines
• Manage stock and supplies.
• Practicing a high level of organization and time management, all with a great attention to details
• Support sensory team goals and activities, as needed
• This is an hourly based part time position, flexible hours.

Qualifications
• At least 2nd year student for BS in Food Science/ Life science- must
• Availability for at least 2.5 working days a week
• Basic knowledge using Excel is mandatory
• Must be a non-smoker
• Physically fit to perform basic tasks such as walking, carrying weight, and bending. More Detail
