CBDC Cumberland is a not-for-profit organization providing innovative financial assistance, business counseling, training and development to aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses with the goal of growing Cumberland County's local economy and increasing employment opportunities in the area.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is accountable for the leadership and direction of the corporation. This is an essential position within our community and the board is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated and conscientious individual with demonstrated skills and competencies to lead the corporation. The Executive Director supervises a staff of 2 business development officers and 1 administrator.

This is a salary position that requires occasional travel to meetings of the Nova Scotia Assocation of CBDC's and the Atlantic Assocation of CBDC's. Mileage and meals are paid while attending meetings.
