Vacancy: Registered Nurse (Theatre)

Private Day Hospital situated in George has a position available for a Theatre Scrub Sister.

Disciplines: Ophthalmology, Plastic surgery, Maxillofacial and Orthopedic Surgery.

Duties:

• Delivering a high standard of quality service to patients and doctors.

• Provide safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

• Take responsibility of the theatre and cases where you are allocated.

• Accurate patient billing, record keeping and stock control.

• Equipment care and control.

• Maintaining professional growth, self-development, and ethical standards.

• Mentoring of junior staff within the unit.

Requirements:

• SANC Registered.

• Qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science advantageous.

• Private Hospital experience in theatre as a Scrub Nurse.

• Must preferably have experience in an Ophthalmology Theatre.

• Must be able to work flexi hours and overtime as required.

• Must be able to do week / weekend standby.
