Job summary

Cancer Services are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join them in supporting the Trust in achieving and sustaining the cancer targets. The post holder will the first point of contact for patients being referred with a suspected cancer and will continue to support the patient along their pathway. Excellent organisational skills will also be required to ensure that patients are tracked, and their progress monitored along their pathway using hospital computerised data and tracking systems.
Main duties of the job

To work closely with members of the clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust in developing policies and procedures to ensure seamless management of patients across all departments. To be responsible for ensuring the accurate and complete collection and management of the national cancer minimum dataset for all patients discussed at MDT, and to ensure all patient pathways are correctly mapped and appropriately tracked.
