This is an on-site role for a Junior Accountant at LeadCA located in Kimberley in the Northern Cape. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with general accounting, company secretarial (CIPC related) and tax duties, managing client records, preparing financial reports, and liaising with clients. The specific day to day tasks includes:
• Assisting with client onboarding
• Following up on information
• Assisting to ensure that clients’ files (be it electronic or paper based) are organised, complete and up to date.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax returns.
• Assisting with payroll administration.
• Accounting up to Trial balance.
• Assistance in drafting financial statements. Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills:
• Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite and accounting software. Experience on Xero would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of financial accounting and Tax principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
